This holiday season, The Bowl will transform into a winter wonderland with the return of the ice skating rink! Lace up your skates, grab a cup of cocoa and make memories under the twinkling lights with family and friends from Saturday, November 21 to Sunday, January 10.

Location: The ice rink is located within The Amp Ballantyne at 11115 Upper Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28277.

General Admission: $20 per person / Children 5 and Under: $15 per person

Hours of Operation

Regular Hours:

Monday-Thursday: 4-9 p.m.

Friday: 4-10 p.m.

Saturday: 11 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Sunday: 12-9 p.m.

Holiday Hours:

Thanksgiving Break (Wednesday, November 25 - Friday, November 27): 12-10 p.m.

Winter Break (Sunday, December 20 - Saturday, January 2): 12-10 p.m.; 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. Saturday

*Christmas Eve: 12-6 p.m.

*Christmas Day: 3-10 p.m.

*Online ticket purchases include a small convenience fee. Tickets purchased in person are available at the flat admission prices listed above.

*Skates rentals are included in the price. If you bring your own skates, general admission pricing is $18.

*Skate helpers are available (for no additional fees) while supplies last.

*Military and first responder discounts are offered with a valid ID. Must purchase tickets in-person to receive discount.

Waiver

All patrons are required to complete a digital waiver prior to purchasing tickets. You will be directed to the waiver through the online ticket link above. You can fill out the waiver here if you plan to purchase tickets in-person to save time.

Important Information

Please note the ice rink will close during inclement weather. In the case of rink closure due to inclement weather, tickets will be rescheduled or refunded.
Refund Policy: All ticket sales are final. We do not offer refunds on skating admission unless the rink closes due to inclement weather as stated above.
Skating sessions are 1 hour.
Skate rental sizes available are Toddler Size 9 through Adult Men Size 13.

Parking

Parking is available throughout the area. Nearby surface lots and parking garages offer 3+ hours of free parking.
